What is Auction XI?

Auction XI is a football auction draft application that simulates a one-time, competitive squad-building experience. Build your dream eleven by bidding against friends in a dynamic, strategic auction where every decision matters.

How it Works

Every participant starts with the same budget. Players are presented one by one based on the selected formation, and participants bid to acquire them for their squad. When the timer runs out, the highest bid signs the player. Once everyone's formation is full, the squads are compared - and can be played off against each other in a match simulation.

Game Modes

Auction XI has two modes, and they play very differently:

• Classic 11 v 11 - a full eleven across 5 real formations, on a 1,000M budget with 5M bid steps. Players are priced by rating, and the best come out first: quality steps down phase by phase. Each slot is its own signing, so the left and right centre back are separate players (shown as LCB and RCB).
• 6 v 6 Futsal - six a side on a 100M budget with 1M bid steps. Every player opens at 1M regardless of who they are, and the order is completely random, so a superstar can appear in the final round. Slots are interchangeable: any forward fills either forward spot. Matches are simulated as futsal, which means far more goals.

Privacy Policy

Introduction

Auction XI ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our application, in both Offline and Online modes.

Offline Mode & AI Mode

In Offline mode (shared screen) and AI mode, Auction XI runs entirely in your browser. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers in these modes.

Online Multiplayer Mode

Online mode lets multiple devices join the same draft room and stay in sync in real time. To make this possible, the following is transmitted to and temporarily stored on Google Firebase (Firebase Realtime Database), a third-party service we use for this purpose:

• The room code you create or join
• Participant nicknames you enter for that room
• Live draft/game state (current player, bids, budgets, timers) needed to keep everyone's screen in sync

This data is only used to run the live draft room, is not linked to any account or persistent identity, and is not sold or used for advertising. Room data is not intended to be kept indefinitely and may be removed after a room becomes inactive. Since this data passes through Firebase's infrastructure, Google's own privacy policy also applies to that processing.

Local Storage

The application uses browser localStorage to save your preferences locally on your device, including:

• Number of participants
• Selected formation
• Timer settings
• Display preferences (ratings, rerolls, sound effects)

This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

Cookies & Analytics

Auction XI uses Google Analytics to understand how the application is used (for example, how many people visit, which pages or modes they use, and general device/location information such as country and browser type). Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this. This data is aggregated and used only to improve Auction XI - it is not used to identify you personally, and is not sold. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using browser extensions such as Google's own "Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on," or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.

Third-Party Services

The application loads fonts from Google Fonts, uses Google Analytics for usage statistics, and, for Online mode, uses Google Firebase to sync draft rooms in real time. Please refer to Google's privacy policy for information on how they handle data.

Data Security

In Offline and AI modes, all data is stored locally on your device and no information is transmitted to external servers. In Online mode, draft data is transmitted only to Firebase for the purpose of syncing your room, as described above.

Children's Privacy

Auction XI does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The application is designed for general audiences interested in football.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Auction XI, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.

2. Description of Service

Auction XI is a web-based football auction draft application that allows users to conduct auction-style drafts with customizable settings, offline, online, or against AI opponents. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Auction XI may currently be offered free of charge; this does not obligate us to keep every feature free indefinitely (see Section 8).

3. Permitted Use

You may use Auction XI for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree to:

• Use the application in accordance with all applicable laws
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the application
• Not use the application for any unlawful or prohibited purpose
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks

4. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Auction XI, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of Auction XI and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Player names, ratings, and statistics are used for entertainment purposes only. We do not claim ownership of player names or likenesses.

5. User Content

Any draft data, team names, or configurations you create remain your property. Since all data is stored locally in your browser, you maintain full control over your content.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Auction XI is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The application is free of viruses or harmful components

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Auction XI be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the application.

8. Changes to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of Auction XI at any time without notice. This includes the right to introduce advertising, sponsorships, optional paid features, or other monetization into the application in the future.

9. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
